DelayNewburyport/Rockport passengers should expect severe delays in both directions due to fire department activity. Shuttle busses replace trains between Chelsea and Swampscott. Normal train service will resume between Swampscott and Newburyport/Rockport.

CancellationRockport Line Train 115 (4:05 pm from North Station) has been cancelled today due to fire department activity in the Chelsea area. Passengers may board any upcoming Newburyport Line train from North Station for outbound service to Newburyport/Rockport.Affected direction:

ShuttleBeginning with Train 157 (4:30 pm from N. Station) and Train 117 (5:05 pm from N. Station) all Newburyport/Rockport trains will resume operating as normal in both directions. Shuttle buses will no longer replace trains between Chelsea and Swampscott.
