Advance Tickets: For Groups on the Go

If you’re putting together a group trip or outing in the Boston area and want to streamline your T experience, the Group Orders Program offers advance-purchase options for orders of $25 or more. Groups can purchase 1-way or round trip bus and subway fares, 1- or 7-day passes, or monthly passes for the bus and subway system. 

Pass Options:

  • Single-ride fares on CharlieTickets
  • 1-day passes on CharlieCards, valid for 24 hours from the first use
  • 7-day passes on CharlieCards, valid for 7 days from the first use 
  • Monthly LinkPasses on CharlieCards, valid for the month specified in the order form

Orders need to be placed at least 3 – 5 business days before your trip. Advance tickets and passes are not refundable or replaceable if lost or stolen.

Note: Groups including 10 or more children (regardless of the number of chaperones), must register their travel using the field trip form. Children age 11 and under ride for free.
