Event Description
Are you a technical high school career coach looking to guide your students toward a meaningful career path? The future of transportation is bright, with various opportunities for eager and committed individuals.
Join us for an information session to learn about the MBTA's paid internships, training program, and apprenticeship opportunities:
- Intern Transportation Institute (ITI): A 7-week paid summer internship providing hands-on experience in various departments for high school juniors and seniors.
- Rail Vehicle Maintenance Technician Training Program: A 1-year program offering in-depth training in rail vehicle maintenance. This program is for recent high school graduates with technical and mechanical knowledge.
- Machinist Apprenticeship Program: A 2-year apprenticeship combining classroom learning with practical experience in machining and repairs. This program is for recent high school graduates with technical and mechanical knowledge.
After the presentation, MBTA professionals and current program participants will be available to answer your questions.
