Ride Along Real-Time Vehicle Tracking

Three views of a smart phone screen track a vehicle's arrival on a map with corresponding messages

RIDE customers can track their vehicle's arrival with Ride Along. Sign up to get a text message when your driver is nearby, then follow their arrival on your phone.

How It Works

RIDE customers who subscribe to get text messages from The RIDE can now track their vehicle's arrival in real time.

Day-of trip text messages now include a link to a web page, where you can follow your vehicle's location on a map and get live updates about its arrival time. Your Ride Along page will also show your vehicle number and pick-up address.

You'll get a text message either 30 minutes before pick-up or when your trip is next in line, whichever comes first.

How to Sign Up

All RIDE customers who are subscribed to receive text messages from The RIDE will get Ride Along texts.

To sign up, text "Subscribe" to 781-980-RIDE (7433) from a phone number in your RIDE account.

If you text "Subscribe" from a different number, you will be prompted to log in by responding with your RIDE ID and birth date (MM/DD/YYYY).

To update the phone number in your RIDE account, fill out the online form below or call 617-865-1643.
